Sharp looking customer invoices are part of a professional image that can help instil trust in customers and portray an organized, reliable organization. A great, professional image can help build return business.
Make sure your EMDECS customer invoices are looking the way you want them to. There are invoice options for you to consider:
Layout – For most, the standard EMDECS invoice layout is a great looking invoice. There are alternatives that have been developed, usually to have the customer address line up to a certain sized envelope window. For a nominal charge, it is possible to have a customized layout developed, if the existing designs do not line up with your stationary or envelopes.
Standard Invoice Notes & Disclaimers – Visit the facilities screen, select the Invoice Format tab and add any notes or disclaimers that you’d like printed on every customer invoice in the Customer Invoice Notes field.
Hide Part Numbers – In the interest of producing as clean an invoice ‘look’ as possible, it might be desired to have part numbers hidden. In many circumstances, customers might only be interested in the part description – part numbers are typically not very descriptive and can just make an invoice look too ‘busy’.
Hide Labor Charge Details – Again, in the interest of cleaning up the final look of customer invoices, consider hiding labor charge details and unit charges. The grand total of the labor activity charges will still appear in the sub-total area, but the body of the invoice can contain much less detail. These is also an option to hide just the labor hours and unit charges.
