EMDECS Training Services
EMDECS training is performed by our installation team specialists. Initially, a preliminary overview of the system is presented in an on-line
session. During this time, the set-up tables are reviewed, and directions
are given for initial table population, data conversion tasks and system
set-up.
On-site training begins once the system tables are populated and actual work
can be done in a meaningful fashion. Training on the individual modules may
be given only to the specific individuals training for that module (for
example, dispatchers may not be given training on work orders, and
vice-versa) It is advisable for one or more 'super-users' be trained in
everything, This provide an integrated, company-wide view of EMDECS and
helps to ensure the optimization of the system. 'Training the trainers' also
reduces the expense in rolling the system out to multiple sites, and helps
in training new personnel.
A review session is conducted on-line, a couple of weeks following the
go-live date. This allows for a group review of what's been done, corrects
any misunderstandings and allows the company to feel comfortable that they are proceeding correctly.
