There are no specific training requirements attached to EMDECS, mainly because the EMDECS system layout is tailored to suit your business needs – only the functions and components of EMDECS that will be of use to your shop will be sold and setup. The EMDECS configuration setup in your shop, along with the software knowledge and experience of you and your crew will determine if & what training might be necessary. These needs will be discussed as a version of the system is configured for your business and you will work with our Customer Experience (CX) team to organize any necessary training. Training costs will be based only on what your business requires.
Most training is web based and can involve as many people on your side as you can accommodate. It is also possible to arrange on-site training with our dedicated CX team in your shop if necessary – costs can be discussed with your EMDECS representative when settling on a system configuration, or arranged later if you decide it becomes necessary.
Along with your EMDECS system, any process guide documents that exist for functions performed in your shop will be made available. Screens within the 2nd generation of EMDECS, such as Tech RO for real time maintenance and repair capture, contain embedded tutorial videos that can be viewed without having to sign out of the system. Available guides and videos do not carry any additional charges.
