Enterprise software solutions such as EMDECS become vital tools to a business once setup, configured and in regular use. Many employees could be contributing to the data being entered, stored and generated by the system. It is therefore sometimes important for a business owner to be able to look back on all activity performed within the system in order to pin point when a certain action, activity or request for information was made within the system. This is referred to as an audit history.
EMDECS stores an audit history for all activity performed within the system. At this time, if a business owner requires an audit history search, this would be done by contacting either their Perfit representative or our dedicated CX team to discuss and start the process. Information can be gathered through discussion in order to pin point what to look for in a search of the system logs.
Of course as well, EMDECS can be configured with user permissions and/or role setups that can restrict a user’s access to information and features found in the system, thereby decreasing the chance of requiring an audit history search.
